Ms Virginia Bokaba qualified as a Professional Accountant in 2015 after completing her South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) 3 years training contract with SizweNtsalubaGobodo Inc., an auditing and accounting firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Johannesburg and also obtained her NQF level 5 qualification in Economic and Financial Sciences. She has 5 years of experience in the finance, accounting, and tax fields, ranging from full accounting function for different entities to compiling Annual Financial Statements as per GAAP and IFRS requirements as well as submitting statutory returns to relevant third parties. Virginia is the Financial Manager for the EcoAfrica Group of Companies. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing all areas of finance and administration including: payroll, accounts payable and receivables, job costing, cash management, general ledger, banking and reconciliations. In addition, she provides strategic analysis for management to determine project and company profitability and also enjoys things like problem solving, providing timely and relevant analyses, forecasting, budgeting and working as a team to grow the company.
