Ms Lerato Motaung is a motivated and hardworking agricultural student based in Polokwane, Limpopo, with a strong interest in farming, animal production, and sustainable agricultural practices. She is currently studying at Elsenburg Institution and expects to graduate in December 2026. Lerato has gained practical exposure through farm visits and internships. She has basic knowledge of crop cultivation, soil management, greenhouse production, tractor maintenance, and wire fencing. She is a self-motivated and responsible person who works well in a team and communicates effectively with others. Her goal is to gain hands-on experience through internship opportunities and contribute positively to a productive farm environment.
Lerato is currently a stakeholder engagement assistant for the KwaZulu-Natal Environment Outlook Report. She visited various local communities and engaged with a diverse range of stakeholders. She participated in environmental education projects with South African National Parks (SANParks) and CapeNature.
